‘Come And Get Me’: Escaped Prisoner Taunts Police In Instagram Video
An escaped prisoner has shared a video on Instagram where he could be seen and heard taunting the police, telling them to come and get him.
He did this as he chewed on sweets.
21-year-old Cody Lowndes has been on the run after escaping police custody at the Tameside General Hospital, which is located in Greater Manchester.
In the video, he was also bragging about a pair of handcuffs that he snapped off.
In the video, he could be heard saying:
F*** the police.
Officers with the Greater Manchester Police are appealing for the help of the public so they could trace down the criminal.
He is currently wanted “for absconding from custody whilst on a hospital visit.”
He is currently wanted in connection with 2 counts of burglary, 3 counts of theft of the motor vehicle, shoplifting, public order, possession of a bladed article, and criminal damage.
He was due to appear in court on July 11, 2020, but felt unwell and was brought to the Tameside General Hospital under guard.
While at the hospital, Lowndes managed to escape.
The authorities have been looking for him ever since that day.
