Deepika Padukone calls Chhapaak as “The Most Precious” Movie of her career
The shooting for Chhapaak is done, so this means that the editing phase has begun. Last night, the actress shared a picture of her and the crew of Chhapaak on Instagram, she said Chhappak is the most precious movie in her acting career.

The actress said, “And it’s a wrap on the most precious film of my career… See you all at the movies! January 10, 2020.”
Ranveer Singh, the husband of Deepika Padukone, did what he usually does, the actor commented on the picture and said he “can’t wait to witness the magic” of Chhapaak.
In the movie, Deepika plays the role of an acid attack survivor.
Chhapaak is based on the life and work of Laxmi Agarwal, who is also an acid attack survivor.
Earlier this year, Deepika shared a picture on Instagram, she said “A character that will stay with me forever” while she teased everyone with her upcoming movie.
During an interview with IANS, she said, “It’s a very important film and I feel that the story which we are showcasing in our film needs to be told.”
Chhapaak is the first movie of Deepika Padukone after getting married to Ranveer Singh, she is also the co-producer of the movie.
The movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey. The movie is set to hit the theaters in India on January 10, 2019.
The music director of the movie is A.R. Rahman, an Oscar winner.
