Mukesh Goud, a former Cabinet Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a member of Congress party, lost his battle to cancer at the age of 60.

Mr. Goud was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad and passed away on July 29, 2019.

Mukesh Goud has 2 sons and one daughter.

Mukesh Goud served as CM in the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy government from 2004 to 2009.

Even after being diagnosed with Cancer, Mr. Goud was part of the 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls, unfortunately, he lost to T. Raja Singh.

It is a huge loss for @INCTelangana & for Hyderabad. My thoughts & prayers are with his family during this hour of grief.”
