A man from Uttar Pradesh, India, was so fed up with his wife that he ended up climbing up a tower and refused to come down, saying that he was fed up with the quarrels he and his wife were having.

The unusual incident happened in Moradabad City of the Uttar Pradesh state in India.

According to Asian News International (ANI), Tejpal Singh, the man, climbed up the tower because his wife was framing him in false cases.

The police did not listen to the claims of the man, where he claimed that he was innocent.

As he was up the tower, Tejpal Singh was repeatedly shouting that he was fed up with his wife because of her false claims.

He reportedly said:

I am fed up with my wife. She is trying to frame me in false cases but the police are not listening to me. I want to get rid of this relationship.

The police said that this was the second marriage of Tejpal and that the couple had been arguing for some time now.

According to local news agencies, he pulled the stunt, said local authorities.

The police rushed to the spot to convince him to climb down, which was successful.
