Indiana Abortion Doctor Preserved Over 2,200 Fetuses In Sealed Plastic Bags For Over 18 Years In His Garage

The family of a doctor in Illinois, discovered over 2,200 preserved fetuses at his property a week after he died.

In a press release, the Will County Sheriff’s Office said that they received a call earlier this month from a lawyer that represented the family of Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, who passed away on September 3, 2019, and informed them about the fetuses.

When going through the property of the Doctor, his family found 2,246 medically preserved fetuses.

The lawyer asked the Will County Sheriff’s Office to remove over 2,200 medically preserved fetuses from the property.

Authorities did not reveal the address the property of Dr. Klopfer in the press release.

Authorities took possession of the 2,246 well-preserved fetuses that were found in the property of the doctor.

The release said that the family of Dr. Klopfer is cooperating with the investigations.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office said that there was no evidence that any medical procedures took place at the property.

According to the Indiana State Records, the license history of Dr. Klopfer revealed that he was an osteopathic physician, whose license was suspended for failure to keep abreast of current practice.

According to the state records, his license to practice in Illinois expired in the 1990s.

It is reported that Dr. Klopfer had licenses to perform abortions in Gary, Fort Wayne, and Ind.

According to the South Bend Tribune, the abortion clinic where Dr. Klopfer worked, The Women’s Pavilion, closed 3 years ago in 2016.

Dr. Klopfer stopped performing abortions in November 2015.

The fetuses were found in the garage of Dr. Klopfer and were preserved in small sealed plastic bags that were filled with chemicals.

The fetuses dated between 2000 and 2002.

The discovery was made on September 12, 2019, 9 days after the death of Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, when his widow was going through his possessions in their home in Illinois.

The remains were found in 70 cardboard boxes that he stacked up in their cluttered garage, reported the DailyMail.com.
