Vilas Rikkala, an Indian Farmer, who went to Dubai to find a job returned home on August 3, 2019, with $4 Million that he won at the Big Ticket Raffle.

Gulf News reports that Vilas won the raffle with the Rs. 20,000 that he borrowed from her wife when he went to Dubai to find a job.

Vilas won Dh 15 Million, which is $4.08 million USD, from the Big Ticket Raffle in Dubai.

Vilas left Dubai 45 days ago after he failed to find a job, and on August 3, 2019, he was informed that he won $4 Million USD.

It is reported that Vilas only earns Rs. 300,000 annually from his farms. Vilas is the father of two daughters and has worked as a driver in Dubai before.

During his stay in Dubai, Vilas borrowed Rs. 20,000 from his wife and asked his friend to buy three tickets on his name after he failed to find a job.

After Vilas got to know that he won the ticket, he said: “My wife, Padma, is the reason for the celebration.”
