Man Beats Cancer Twice And Wins $4.6 Million In Oregon State Lottery
A man from Oregon who has beaten cancer 2 times, has won $4.6 Million in the Oregon State Lottery.
Stu MacDonald, the Oregon man who won the lottery, said he purchased a Megabucks ticket every week.
Every time he bought a ticket, his wife wished him luck, and the one time she didn’t, the man won.
Looks like the curse was within the words of his wife.
After winning the lottery, Stu said, “I am a very lucky guy.”
He added, “I have survived cancer twice and here I am. This is amazing.”
Stu decided to take the bulk sum payment of $2.3 million and will be left with $1.56 million after taxes.
He bought the ticket on September 7, 2019, from Ashley’s Café in Bend, Oregon.
The Café will receive $46,000.
Tezra Kong, the manager of the Café, said, “We are thrilled to learn that we sold a Megabucks jackpot.”
He added, “Some of the seller’s bonus will go back to the team that strive to delight our guests every day here at Ashley’s in Wagner Mall.”
According to DailyMail, winning the lottery is rare than beating cancer 2 times.
The Mega Millions Jackpot gives the odds of around 1 in 300 Million.
