Man From California Shot A 10-Month-Old Girl In Her Head After Girl’s Mother Rejected Him At A Family Party
Fayth Percy, a 10-month-old girl, is currently fighting for her life at a hospital in California after Marcos Echartea, a 23-year-old man, shot her in her head.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that Marcos did the horrific act after Deziree Menagh, the mother of Fayth, rejected him at a social gathering.
Jerry Dyer, the Fresno Police Chief, said that the incident happened on Saturday Evening.
During the social gathering, Marcos Echartea grabbed the hand of Menagh and told her to sit on his lap.
Marcos and Menagh did not know each other well, and they only met for the first time a week before the shooting happened.
Menagh felt uncomfortable at the party and decided to leave it with her baby and a friend.
As Menagh and her friend went to park the car, they noticed that Marcos Echartea was coming towards them.
Marcos Echartea fired three rounds into the driver’s window and hit the 10-month-old baby girl in her head.

Chief Dyer said that Fayth was rushed to a hospital where the doctors removed bullet fragments from her head.
Fayth is currently in a critical but stable condition, said the police.
Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said, “We have every reason to believe that Marcos Echartea knew baby Fayth was in that vehicle when he fired three rounds into the vehicle.”
Marcos Echartea is also wanted for a shooting that happened on May 27, 2019.
Officials said that Marcos Echartea allegedly shot into the house of the boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend.
Chief Jerry Dyer said, “In that case, one of the bullets penetrated the wall and nearly struck a 1-year-old who was inside.”
The Chief added, “It’s very apparent that Marcos Echartea has no regard for human life, even a baby.”
Marcos Echartea is currently facing multiple felony counts that are relator to shooting and assault with a deadly weapon.
