Meerkats Escape Zoo To Play At Miniature Golf Course

A group of Meerkats decided to take a day off and escape the zoo to play at a miniature golf course.

The mob decided to break out from the Sealife Adventure, which is located in Essex, on July 12, 2019 and decided to roam around just like normal people.

The recent happening is currently being compared with Madagascar.

I am thinking about the same thing to be honest….

Watch the cute little meerkats below:

You may be thinking about how the mob managed to escape from their enclosures.

Well, this is because someone decided to break inside their enclosure and decided to destroy it.

The horrific act placed the lives of the animals in danger, but luckily, officials of the Sealife Adventure said that the meerkats made it back to the zoo safe.

Before the officials of the zoo brought the meerkats together, they decided to go on a break and roam around a miniature golf course near the area.

In order to keep the meerkats together, the local police tried to keep the mob together.

The Sealife Adventure decided to thank all the civilians, police officials, and staff of the zoo who managed to keep the animals together.

A massive THANK YOU to the members of the Sealife Adventure team, police officers, PCSO and members of the public who…

The post said, “Fortunately members of the public, police and PCSO assisted in keeping the meerkats in the area. The meerkats recognised Melissa’s Blue shirt (the same colour as the Sealife Adventure Team) which encouraged them to rally around her.”

The post added, “A massive THANK YOU to the members of the Sealife Adventure team, police officers, PCSO and members of the public.”

The post continued, “By now the Sealife Adventure team, Managing Director Marc Miller and Security Supervisor Mitchell Lotter arrived – and our meerkats rescue plan went into action. Animal Keeper Nick (next on the scene) has a strong bond with the meerkats having been with them at Tropical wings – he has known many of them from birth. This bond allowed him to coax most of them back home – and they were happy to get there.”

The Sealive Adventure is currently trying to find the person who broke into the enclosure of the meerkat. The company is also offering an Annual pass and a chance to meet the meerkats for the person who can provide information about the person who is responsible for the incident.

The Sealife adventure also released the CCTV footage and picture of the person who broke into the enclosure.

CCTV footage of the criminal who broke in and destroyed our meerkat's home – remember there's £1000 reward as well as a chance to meet the meerkats for info leading to arrest & charge!
