Mistaken As Child Kidnappers, 3 Congress Leaders Accidentally Thrashed By Mob In Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh: 3 leaders from the Congress party were accidentally thrashed by a mob at a village in the state after villagers thought they were child kidnappers.

The incident happened after residents of the Navalsinh village received an Intel about a group that was kidnapping children in the area.

Dharmendra Shukla, Dharmu Singh Lanjiwar, and Lalit Baraskar, the three local Congress leaders, were stopped by the mob during the night and were thrashed after villagers mistook them as the suspected child kidnappers.

After the three leaders saw the mob, they turned the vehicle away and were chased by the mob.

They were eventually stopped and were thrashed by the mob.

Ram Snehi Mishra, a senior police officer of the area, said, “Suspecting them to be child kidnappers, the villagers chased the vehicle and attacked it. The vehicle was damaged. They also assaulted the three Congress leaders.”

Officer Mishra added that a case has been filed with the Betul police and investigation has been launched for the said incident.
