Oldest American With 125 Great-Grandkids Celebrates Her 116th Birthday With Entire Family

The oldest living American celebrated her 116th birthday with her enormous family amidst this coronavirus pandemic!

Hester Ford, who is born in Lancaster County, South Carolina, managed to live through 2  world wards and 2 pandemics.

Now that’s what you call a fighter.

Ford, a mother of 12 kids, has 68 grandchildren, 125 great-grandchildren, and 120 great-great-grandchildren.

On August 15, 2020, she celebrated her 116th birthday with her enormous family.

The official age of Ford is currently in dispute as US Census Bureau documents state she was born in 1905, but another set of Census Bureau documents claim she was born in 1904.

Who knows, the important thing is that she managed to survive and is still a strong woman!

According to data that is compiled by the Gerontology Research Group, Ford is the oldest living person in America as of July 30, 2020, despite she turned 115 or 116.

Ford is the 3rd oldest living person on the planet if she is indeed 116 years old. But if she is 115, she would be the 6th oldest person.

No one knows the truth, but banners that were placed during her birthday celebration proudly claim ‘Happy 116th Birthday Mother’.

When asked how she has managed to live a long life, Ford said that she just lives right.

Ford was married to John when she was just 14 years old. She gave birth to their first child when she was 15, said local news channels in America.

John worked at a local steel mill and Ford spent her time taking care of their house, their farm, and their 12 children.

Sadly, John passed away when he was 57, which was way back in 1963.

Ford has managed to live twice as long as her late husband.

It is said that Ford never needed to go to the hospital until she got to the age of 108.

Now that’s something I would brag a lot with my friends if I get to that age.

Ford lived in her own house without assistance until this age, and had 3 of her daughters having move back in with her over the past several years.

Before this coronavirus pandemic, Ford was attending masses on the first Sunday of every month.

The best thing about Ford is that she can walk herself with the aid of a walking frame, can recite the 23rd Psalm, and can feed herself.

Live a long life Ford, you deserve all the happiness in the world!
