Passenger Attacks National Guard Soldier Because He Was Asked To Wear A Mask

Sometimes the best thing to do is follow simple instructions from authorities in order to stay away from chaos or any further unfortunate incidents.

But that was not the case with this man.

A passenger attacked a National Guard Soldier at the San Juan Airport in Puerto Rico after they were asked to wear a face mask.

The man, who has been identified as Adrien William, was filmed hitting out at airport officials that were wearing hazmat suits.

According to reports, the incident happened on November 28, 2020, after he arrived in Puerto Rico from the USA.

A video of the event was uploaded to social media by several onlookers.

Officials said that Williams arrived in Puerto Rico on a flight from the US and attacked a P.R. National Guard soldier who twice told him to put on a mask at the baggage claim in San Juan.

The man was also refusing to fill out all the mandatory travel declaration forms.

William was later brought into police custody after the incident happened.

William ended up getting restrained by Airport police.

The police released a statement about the incident, where they said:

A man identified as Adrien William did not follow instructions regarding the use of a mask or provide personal data, and following this attacked the complainant in the face.

The man also refused medical assistance after being arrested for the horrible incident.

The case is due to be heard in the Court of Carolina, Puerto Rico, on December 4, 2020.

According to official reports, the guard William attacked smelled an alcohol smell coming out of his breath.
