A video and images were shared by a Twitter user that showed a Southwest Airlines flight attendant lying inside the overhead compartment.

It went viral really fast, I mean, why wouldn’t it.

The incident happened when a flight attendant of the Nashville to Philadelphia flight of Southwest Airlines decided to lie down inside the compartment and enjoy passengers walking by.

The Southwest Airlines released a statement about the incident to the Fox News.

They said, “Southwest Employees are known for demonstrating their sense of humour and unique personalities. In this instance, one of our flight attendants attempted to have a brief moment of fun with customers during boarding. Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest Crews always maintain safety as their top priority.”

The video was shared by Veronica Lloyd, a passenger of the flight

She wrote, “Is this a dream @SouthwestAir ? I can’t get over how weird I find this. @SouthwestAir please get it together.”

She added, “Imagine boarding a flight and not being able to put your luggage anywhere because the flight attendant is laying in the overhead bin.”
