Autorickshaw driver Sandeep Shukla was arrested by the Mumbai police for flashing his penis to a woman passenger that he picked up from the Kandivali Station last night.

The friend of the passenger tweeted the incident, she wrote, “A rickshaw driver was masturbating while looking at my friend in the rearview mirror. He picked her up today at 10.50 pm from Kandivali station.

The friend added, “As soon as she realized, she panicked and got down midway.”

The friend of the passenger tagged the Mumbai Police, and an investigation was launched after the police recorded her statement.

A case was then registered against Sandeep Shukla, the autorickshaw driver, under the Indian Penal Code sections 354(a) (explicit sexual overtures) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

The police then tracked down Shukla and detained him for questioning from his home in Kandivali, Mumbai.
