A 19-year-old girl has been confirmed dead after a ride in a theme park in Uzbekistan broke apart in the air while it was rotating.

Officials said that the horrible accident happened at a funfair in Jizzakh, a city in Uzbekistan.

Local authorities said that the ride had dozens of riders when the accident happened and confirmed that a teenager was killed when the rotating ride broke apart and crashed down.

Dozens of riders were strapped safely in the rotating ride, but the footage of the accident showed how the metal arm of the rotating ride broke apart and how it sent riders plunging to the ground.

Authorities did not mention how the 19-year-old teenage girl passed away and what is the condition of the harmed individuals.

Officials identified the teenager with her Initials, which are MH and confirmed that she was 19-years-old.

The theme park is located in Jizzakh which is located 125 miles away from Tashkent, the capital city of the country.

It is still not clear if the theme park was shut down after the accident.

The owners of the theme park have not yet released any statement about the crash and what really happened.

Sputnik News, a local news agency said, “As a result of the crash of the ‘Flying Saucer’ attraction, a girl, born in 1999, died at the scene of the incident.”
