Russian Instagram Influencer Ekaterina Karaglanova Found Dead Inside A Suitcase With Stab Wounds
24-year-old Ekaterina Karaglanova was found dead inside a suitcase with stab wounds after her family members reported that they could not contact her.
Ekaterina has more than 85,000 followers on Instagram and recently, the influencer graduated as a doctor.
The police are currently investigating the case and are considering this as an act out of jealousy.
According to Russian Daily Moskovsky Komsomolets, Ekaterina started a new relationship and planned a holiday to the Netherlands so she could celebrate her birthday, which was on July 30, 2019.
The incident came to light after her parents contacted her and she did not respond.
The parents then got in touch with the landlord of Ekaterina and asked access to her apartment.
The father of Ekaterina found a suitcase in the hallway of her apartment that contained her dead body, she had her throat slit and other stab wounds all over her body.
The father of Ekaterina then called an ambulance.
The police said that there was no evidence of a struggle in the apartment of the influencer and added that they did not find any weapon inside the apartment.
The police said that the CCTV footage in her apartment captured the former boyfriend of Ekaterina visiting her property in the days when she couldn’t be contacted by her parents.
Ekaterina usually posted images of her on the social media platform, her followers and fans usually said that she looked like Audrey Hepburn.
