Son Shares Horrific Injury Pictures Of Mother After She Was Brutally Abused At Nursing Home
Benny Gomez said his 86-year-old mother was left with 2 facial fractures, broken nose, and a number of bruises on her face after she was abused by the staff of the Westfield Center Nursing Care facility in Livington, New Jersey.
Gomez shared the horrific pictures of his 86-year-old mother’s dismantled face after she was brutally abused by the staff at the nursing care facility.
Benny says his mother has mild dementia and claims that his mother was assaulted by the staff last week.
The nursing home denies the allegations that were placed by Benny and said they were inaccurate.
The Westfield Center Nursing Care facility in Livington, New Jersey said the mother of the claimant sustained the injuries after she fell.
Benny shared the images of her mother’s injuries on Social Media.
During an interview with ABC13, he said, “What does she mean to me? Everything. She has double fractures in her face. Her nose is broken. She has stitches.”
Mrs. Gross, the mother of Benny, has a broken nose, a number of bruises on her face, and 2 facial fractures.
The police are currently investigating the claims of Benny.
The Westfield Center Nursing Care facility in Livington, New Jersey said they have a zero tolerance policy on abuse.
The nursing facility said they have contacted the police and the Department of Health.
In a statement that they released, they said the photos were difficult to see due to the severity of the injuries.
The statement added, “No resident was struck, hit or abused.”
Benny also claims that this is not the first time his mother had injuries on her.
Benny said, “She tells me that the aides were rough with her and that they hit her. You go to the hospital and to see your mother in this condition is just unexplainable.”
Marilyn Barbosa, the attorney of Benny, said, “No matter what the cause, no resident of a nursing facility should ever be made to suffer.”
The mother of Benny is currently with her and was not returned back to the nursing home facility.
