In a press release, the Alwar Police confirmed that 6 people have been charged with gang-rape for raping a teenager in the district two months ago.

The police said that the complaint was lodged at the Khairthal Police Station on Tuesday and was lodged by the family members of the girl.

The gang-rape victim said that she was raped by the men 2 months ago and they also took videos and pictures of her.

The victim added that she was threatened by the men and told her not to share the incident with anyone.

The police registered the case under the Indian Penal Code Section 376-D (Gang-Rape) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The police have launched an investigation and are currently looking for the accused 6 men.
