Tesla Adds “Dog Mode” In Their Cars So Owners Can Keep Their Pets Cool

Earlier this year, Tesla announced that they will be adding a number of useful features in their air updates.

One of the new features that Tesla introduced is the Dog Mode. This feature uses sensors inside the car so your car can maintain a cold temperature for your pets while you do some of your daily activities where you can’t bring your pets with you.

Owners of Tesla models can activate this feature through the climate control menu, you just have to press the button that says “Dog”.

In 2016, Tesla offered the Cabin Overheat Protection in their models, which is basically the basic version of “Dog Mode”.

Note: this feature is not a replacement when it comes to leaving your own kids inside your Car.

Also, the Dog Mode shows a display message on the screen with the temperature of the car so people that are passing by can see that the pets are safe inside the car.

The update was aimed to keep pets comfortable in the vehicle while owners left them alone.
