For concerned citizens, the crocodile was rescued by the Wildlife Rescue Trust and they confirmed that the crocodile was 3.5 feet long.
The Wildlife Rescue Trust handed the small crocodile to the Forest Department officials.
Arvind Pawar, a member of the Wildlife Rescue Trust, said that the crocodile was rescued on the morning of Thursday from the Rajstambh Society near Lalbaug.
It is believed that the crocodile entered the neighborhood after the Vishwamitri River had high water levels due to heavy rain.
