The video above was captured in Wagga Wagga on Monday morning.

The video shows a 3-year-old eastern grey kangaroo run through a red light at Berry and Morgan Streets of Wagga Wagga before he was stopped and captured by the officials.

@FitzpatricksRE shared the video on twitter and said: “Meanwhile in Wagga Wagga, Australia…”

The video showed the speeding kangaroo hopping through a red light.

Goldburn Post reported that the 3-year-old eastern grey kangaroo was caught hiding near broken shopping trolleys at a parking spot at Wagga Marketplace.

Goldburn also said that the kangaroo was brought to the Kooringal Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Sayer, a doctor at the Kooringal Veterinary Hospital, said, “He only had bleeding to the nails on his feet from hopping on roads, but was in good condition generally.”

The kangaroo weighed around 26 kilograms and was brought to the hospital with minor injuries.
