Woman Claims Washington Post Restaurant Critic Exposed Her Husband’s Secret Affair

A food critic from the Washington Post accidentally exposed a husband’s secret after he was photographed dining with his mistress.

His wife caught him dining with his mistress.

The revelation was made public during a weekly question and answer with Tom Sietsema when an anonymous woman claimed her husband was photographed with a woman in the most recent restaurant review of the critic.

In the question and answer portion, the woman wrote, “Well Tom your latest review is accompanied by a picture of my husband dining with a woman who isn’t me!”

She added, “Once confronted with photographic evidence, he confessed to having an ongoing affair.”

She continued, “Just thought you’d be amused to hear of your part in the drama. This Thanksgiving I’m grateful to you for exposing a cheat!”

Talking about the comment, Sietsema said he was stunned and dubious before he pleads the fifth.

He said, “Please, please, please tell me this is a crank post. I’d hate to learn otherwise.”

He added, “I file two reviews a week, for Food and the Magazine, so I’m not sure which restaurant this is.”

Sietsema has been a food critic with the Washington Post since 2000.

Tom later confirmed the news on Twitter, he said, “Cheaters, take heed!”

He said he hates to know if the commenter’s claim was indeed true.

Tom said, “Please, please, please tell me this is a crank post.”

He continued, “I’d hate to learn otherwise. I file two reviews a week, for Food and the Magazine, so I’m not sure which restaurant this is.”
