A woman from Hamilton, Canada, was shocked and disgusted after finding a live mouse inside the loaf bread that she was about to buy in a No Frills Grocery Store in Hamilton.
Michelle Hill, the woman, noticed the mouse while she was shopping at the No Frills Store on Main Street.
Hill posted a picture of the loaf of bread on Facebook.

The post she made went viral right away, it currently has over 9.6k likes, 25k shares, and over 40 comments.
In her post, Hill said, “So I was at No Frills at Tisdale and Main today to grab a few things and was chatting with the cashier as I was putting my stuff on the belt and went to grab the bread and my wristlet (under the bread) and seen this LIVE mouse in the bread..”
She added, “I was shocked of course and disgusted. Asked for the guy who the cashier was talking too who worked there to grab the bread. I wasn’t touching it! Cashiers and the guy who worked there were shocked and grossed out as much as me and the man in front of me grabbed the bread. Make sure you check your stuff.”
Hill asked the staff of the store to grab the bread.
The incident went viral, which led the breadmaker sending a gift card to Hill.
Loblaws, the company that owns No Frills, has issued an apology to the woman.
Loblaws said they are taking steps to make sure that incidents like these will not happen in the future.
The company said they are currently working with a pest control team, and their staff is inspecting bakery items every day.
