Woman Waters Houseplant For Years Before Finding Out It Was Fake
To make our house look more adorable and pleasing, we buy furniture, plants, fake plants, and other things.
Caelie Wilkes, a woman, was extremely proud of her plants as she kept watering them for 2 years, but one thing she did not know was that the plants she had were not real.
In a post that she made on Facebook, Caelie said, “I was so proud of this plant. It was full, beautiful coloring, just an overall perfect plant. I had it up in my kitchen window. I had a watering plan for it, if someone else tried to water my succulent I would get so defensive because I just wanted to keep good care of it. I absolutely loved my succulent.”

On February 28, Caelie said she was about to transfer the planet into a new container when she freaked out and realized the unexpected.
She said, “I found the cutest vase, that suited it perfectly.”
As she pulled out the flower from its pot, Caelie could not believe her eyes and realized that her succulent was a fake plant.
In the post she made, Caelie said, “I go to pull it from the original plastic container it was purchased with to learn this plant was FAKE. I put so much love into this plant! I washed it’s leaves. Tried my hardest to keep it looking it’s best, and it’s completely plastic! How did I not know this. I pull it from the container it’s sitting on Styrofoam with sand glued to the top! I feel like these last two years have been a lie.”
The post Caelie made on Facebook has around 4,700 comments, over 7,600 shares, and over 1,800 likes.
I mean let’s talk about the love Caelie had for the plant.
