When you’re planning to go on a holiday, the first thing you check is the expiration date of your passport, that’s a must and almost everyone knows that fact.

But one dad and his wife did not mind to check the passport of their daughter when they were booking flights.

After years of saving, a father, whose identity was not shared with the public, booked the first abroad holiday with his family, which consists of his wife and 3 children.

The 14-year-old daughter from a previous relationship of the dad had been on a holiday overseas with her mother before, but the father did not check out the expiry date of her passport.

When the family went to the airport, they discovered that the 14-year-old daughter only had 2 months left on her passport.

The passports of the other 2 kids were all new, but the 14-year-old’s passport was about to expire.

According to Mirror.co.uk, the family continued to go on the trip and left the kid behind.

It is not known if the 14-year-old was picked up by her mother.
