When Omprakash Mishra went to audition for the reality talent show Indian Idol, judges Farah Khan and Anu Mallik probably didn’t foresee how famous he was going to get. Mishra’s claim to fame is cringe-worthy rap song he uploaded to YouTube in 2015.

The song starts with the following lyrics:

“Bolna Aunty aaun kya, Ghanti mein bajaun kya, Shot mein lagaun kya.”

Although over 13,000 people said they were interested in attending the flash mob, it all seemed like a joke. That was until Connaught Place witnessed an unusual gathering on Sunday. It wasn’t a group of protesters or a bunch of artists but a band of girls and boys, who could be heard shouting two lines from the song in a loop.

Pictures and videos from the event show several youngsters coming together and chanting the crass lyrics of Bolna Aunty Aau Kya song while shaking a leg.
