Sri Devi was considered as the female superstar of India and her contribution to Indian film industry is legendary. She entered the glamour world at the age of 4 as a child artist in a Tamil movie. Ever since she was one of the busiest stars down south. She was continuously making movies one after the other with almost every superstar in the industry.

Sridevi shares a special bond with Rajinikanth and she was seen praying for him when he was sick. But do you know that Sri Devi at the age of 13 worked as his stepmother?

Yes, it is true. Sridevi acted as Rajini’s stepmother in the movie “Moondru Mudichu” where Rajini will be seen swooning over her but she will end up as his mother in the movie. It took 13years for Sridevi to act with Rajinikanth in a lead role. They both acted in the classic cult movie Chalbaaz as a pair.

Sridevi’s demise shocked the whole of the country. On Sridevi’s demise, Rajinikanth was one of the first persons to convey his condolences to Sridevi’s family. He tweeted saying that he’ll miss a dear friend.

Boney Kapoor recently organized a prayer meeting for Sridevi in Chennai but Rajinikanth couldn’t attend the same because he went for a Himalayan cleansing ritual before completely entering into the politics. For those who don’t know, Rajini is entering Tamil politics as after Jaya Lalitha’s demise Tamil politics were completely disturbed.

Sridevi went to Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding along with husband, Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor. Boney and Khushi returned back to India after the wedding but Sridevi insisted to stay for two more days in Dubai. Later Boney Kapoor went to Dubai to surprise his lady love but little did he know that would be the last time he’s looking at her.

Sridevi went to take a shower and get ready for having dinner with Boney in the way he planned but went into an unconscious state and fell into the bathtub. The reason for her demise is said to be an accidental drowning in the bathtub.
