Kaabil Director Sanjay Gupta Takes A DIG At SRK-Akshay Kumar’s Box Office Clash, SRK Fans Troll Him Badly

2017 began with one of the biggest clash of the titans – Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil battling it out at the box office.

We all know how the Kaabil team tried their best to convince Raees Team to postpone their dates so that the clash is avoided. Even after so many efforts, the clash happened. While both films did well at the box office, despite the clash, however, if things were better, the results would have been the best.

Now, two months after the clash, seems like Sanjay Gupta has still not got over the hurt, Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees caused to Kaabil. Last night, he tweeted a nasty message indirectly taking a dig at Shah Rukh Khan.

Check out the tweet here:

Sanjay tweeted, “KARMA, you beauty! I love and believe in you so much. I love how you go after all that f*** with you. KARTAM BHUKTAM on Independence Day.

This tweet was in reference to the clash of Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Anushka Sharma clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Sadly, the director deleted the tweet as soon as he was trolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet.

As we all know how Raees was supposed to clash with Sultan but they shifted their dates because major portions of the movie were not completed. Kaabil was already announced and then Raees was also announced on the same date – 25th January, 2017.

A few days back, Akshay Kumar announced the release date of his next film-Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and SURPRISINGLY it’s clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s next directed by Imtiaz Ali. The date is August 11 which means that the Independence Day weekend is going to witness another gigantic box-office clash.

Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar fan clubs were at war in regards to the clash. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans lost their cool on Sanjay Gupta’s tweet and trolled him on Twitter. Giving in to the same, he deleted the tweet later this morning.

We don’t know which side to buy, all we think is that box office clashes means loss of business for both the movies. Also, a director of such stature should not give out such tweets, even if they do, they should maintain the stand strongly than delete it.

What do you say about this? Is Shah Rukh doing right clashing with other stars? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
