Manushi Chhillar made the whole country proud when she won the Crown as Miss World, 2017. She belongs to Haryana and both her parents are doctors and like every doctor’s kid, her path was clearly directed, and she started pursuing MBBS. Manushi life took a turn when took a part in FBB Campus Princess in 2016, later represented Haryana in Femina Miss India and was crowned as Miss India.

Manushi later represented India at Miss World Pagent in 2017 and brought the crown to the country and she’s also a part of Beauty with a purpose tour whose mission is to spread education about menstrual hygiene to women. Ever since she was crowned as Miss World, her entire life is constantly under the scanner. People are curious to know about her lifestyle and eating habits to her fashion choices.

Recently Manushi wore a peach saree, by Anita Dongre during her Beauty with a purpose tour in Variety Children’s Telethon in Iowa, USA. The saree is embellished with Sequins, Dori, Beads and Zari work and this beauty caught the attention of the Indian media and costs about Rs. 1,70,000. She paired the saree with diamond chandelier earrings and complimented it with her crown.

This 20-year old is the 6th person who brought the Miss World title to India. The title was won by Priyanka Chopra before 17years and ever since we are dreaming for another Indian to win back the title and our prayers were answered in the form of Manushi. Manushi won the title with her answer during the last round. The question asked was

“Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?”

She gave an answer that had won the judge’s heart in no time. She said

“I think a mother is of the highest respect. I don’t think it just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. A mother should get highest salary and respect.’

Manushi is not only a medical aspirant but also a trained classical dancer, Poet, and a painter. After she was crowned as Miss World, she became the ambassador of Anaemia Free Haryana and Haryana government also extended their support to her Beaty with a purpose campaign and released Rs. 18crores as funds. Haryana government also ensured free sanitary napkins in the government schools of Haryana. She also met Venkaiyah Naidu and Sushma Swaraj as a part of her campaign for urging their support for the cause.
