The Malayalam actor Mohanlal’s most awaited film Velipadinte Pusthakam is released worldwide on Thursday in 600 screens. The film received good mouth talk from fans and film critics.  This movie is the most awaited movie of Mohanlal which has finally hit the theaters in large scale. In India, there are about 400 theaters and only alone in Kerala for 210 theaters.

The movie starred with Mohanlal and actress Reshma Rajan in the female lead role. Reshma is seen in a young assistant professor in the campus and Mohanlal plays a vice principal named Professor Michael role in the movie. The story revolves around the professor Mathew Idikkula who reformed the atmosphere of a college and many things that are related to colleges like the healthy relationship between teachers and students. Also, he will try to prove the impact of students in many aspects of the society.

The box office collections of Velipadinte Pusthakam are really on an opening day. The exact figure of collections on box office is not revealed but it is expected to benefit. The advance ticket booking for maximum shows of Velipadinte Pesthakam has been sold out.

The response and positive mouth is expected to take the movie towards good box office collections. On the first day the movie has collected about Rs 3 crore gross at domestic box office. Velipadinte Pusthakam has made a total gross collection of 7.34 Crores in the first weekend.
