The much-awaited movie of Ajith Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal`s “Vivegam” has hit the theaters on August 25th, 2017. This movie is an action thriller which received a positive talk from the audience all over. The audience is praising the Thala Ajith for his wonderful performance.

The movie is starred with Thala Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan. The film is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan, Arjun Thyagarajan and T.G. The maximum shooting for the film has been shot in Europe. The film makers have seen the big amount with the pre-release business.

Vivekam Movie Collections:

This movie Vivegam has released worldwide in 3000+ screens with just 800 screens in Tamil Nadu alone. This film is recorded as Ajith’s biggest career hit which released with 1000 shows on opening day. The film has screened in 200 screens in Karnataka, 450 screens in Telangana, 160 screens in 160 and 700 screens in Malaysia. The film opened with a bang (considering it was made on a budget of Rs 3 crore) on Day one, minting Rs 2.05 crore.

Vivegam’s box office scorecard (as evaluated in Chennai) reads Rs. 4.28 crore, and in doing so, the movie has become “the fastest movie to reach Rs. 4 Cr in Chennai City.

According to the reports from theater owners, it is said that the tickets were sold out like hot cakes with in just minutes. Even in Multiplexes, the tickets are sold out very soon which is never expected. It is expected that the movie will collect Rs 20 Crores on an opening day. As this has a four-day long weekend after the release of the film it is expected to cross 100 crores on the first weekend.

Vivekam Weekend Collections:

Vivegam minted Rs 5.75 crore at the Chennai box office in the first weekend. On an opening day, it raked in Rs 1.22 crore and had a good growth on the following day by collecting Rs 1.51 crore. The increase in the footfall is largely credited to the Ganesh Chaturthi festival holiday.

On its first day, Vivegam raked in Rs 33.08 crore and went on to gross Rs 100 crore in its opening weekend. Reports suggest that Vivegam has crossed the Rs 150-crore mark. After the implementation of the GST, theatres across Tamil Nadu witnessed fewer footfalls. However, Vivegam became the first Tamil film to gross Rs 100 crore post-GST.

The movie which opened on 3,000 theatres worldwide has collected Rs 7.15 crore in Chennai which is all time highest first-week collections at the Chennai box office.
