Tamil horror-comedy film ‘Jackson Durai’ has released in theatres today (July 1). After the success of ‘Naaigal Jaakiradhai,’ actor Sibiraj has played the lead role in this horror flick directed by Dharanidharan who made his debut with the film Burma (2014). Sibi’s father and veteran actor Sathyaraj has shared the screen space with his son in this film after a long gap. He played a ghost in this film for the first time along with ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran. Bindhu Madhavi will be seen as the female lead while American actor Zachary and Karunakaran will be seen in important supporting characters.

Jackson Durai is a horror comedy about an undercover cop who goes for an investigation to a village that has been haunted for more than a century. It is a thriller set in the 1940s in a village.

The film is about a village which is haunted by two ghosts for almost hundred years. Sibiraj, who is playing the role of a cop comes to this village and finds something unusual. Sibiraj tries to solve a case and attempts to chase away the ghosts played by Sathyaraj, Rajendran and Zachary. How Sibiraj gets rid of the grip of these ghosts is the basic plot of the movie.
