Lenovo K4 Note To Feature 3GB RAM, Set To Launch in India on January 5

Lenovo, the Chinese smartphone makers has released a new teaser of Lenovo K4 Note on its official website and is planning to launch the new device on January 5 in India. The company has officially posted a new teaser of Lenovo K4 Note on the micro-blogging site, cinfirming that the upcoming smartphone will feature 3GB RAM. The company also revealed the launch date of the device in India. It is expected that the smartphone might be unveiled at the CES event 2016.

Lenovo K3 Note, which is the previous iteration of Lenovo featured a 2GB RAM. This is a substantial enhancement over its predecessor, Lenovo K3 Note. The Lenovo K4 Note is all set to enter the affordable segment as a well-specced phablet. Earlier, Lenovo has tipped that its upcoming device sports a metal body and a fingerprint sensor. Notably, the Lenovo K3 Note misses both of these features. The K4 Note might truly need these features to replicate, if not hit, the trails of the Lenovo K3 Note’s success.

According to the reports, the new Lenovo K4 Note will include an inbuilt storage of 32GB. However, all these are just rumours. There were also reports that the imminent device will also feature a fingerprint sensor and a metal body. It is also said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor. The company has not yet revealed the specs sheet of the device.

Lenovo K4 Note to Launch in India

It’s Predecessor, Lenovo K3 Note was launched in the country in the month of June 2015 at an affordable price of Rs. 9, 999. The Lenovo K3 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels along with a pixel density that goes up to 401ppi. The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

The handset supports 4G and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of its own Vibe UI. The phablet measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99mm and weighs 150gms. The specifications of Lenovo K3 Note are almost identical to the recently launched Meizu m1 note.  In terms of storage, the device includes an inbuilt storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Lenovo K3 Note comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. On the other side, the device bears a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. The Lenovo K3 Note is power-packed by a 3000mAh battery.
