Oppo Electronics, the Chinese Electronics Company has announced the all-new R7s smartphone with pretty good features and notable specifications at the GETIX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) 2015 in Dubai, UAE. It is the first smartphone by the Oppo Electronics to design a smartphone sporting 4GB of RAM. Oppo announced that the phone will go on sale in 10 different countries from November. But, the company has not yet revealed the pricing details and the launch date of R7s in India. Oppo aims to compete with other smartphone manufacturers and to gain consumer attention, it has unveiled R7s smartphone.

The Oppo R7s is the latest phone from the R7 series. Oppo had launched the Oppo R7 Plus and Oppo R7 Lite in Mumbai earlier last month which were admired for their long battery life, metal unibody, rapid charging capabilities, precise finger scanner and expandable memory. The latest R7s smartphone also houses pretty good features and specifications not less than its predecessors.

Key Specifications

The specifications of Oppo R7s are quite impressive which is designed with a memory of 4GB of RAM and many other features. Here are the key specifications of Oppo R7s.

Display: The Oppo R7s sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

RAM: This is the first smartphone which has 4GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.

Storage: The device has an internal storage of 32 GB.

External Storage: The handset comes with a hybrid microSD card slot, which supports an additional storage of 128GB.

Processor: The Oppo R7s houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC which has an octa-core processor inside.

Operating System: Oppo R7 Plus uses ColorOS 2.1 which runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop similar to its predecessor R7 Plus smartphone.

Battery: The handset is powered by a 3,070mAh non-removable battery.

Camera: The device is packed with 13MP rear camera that has an LED flash unity and an 8MP front-facing camera.

SIM: Oppo R7s is a dual-SIM phone with support for microSIM as well as nano-SIM cards.

One of the best features of R7s is that it supports Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charging technology which facilitates  75 percent of the battery capacity to be filled in just 30 minutes. Also, it can deliver two hours of talk time with a Five minutes of charging. Oppo has announced that the latest R7s will be released to South-East Asian and Australian markets in November while releases for the U.S. and Europe will be in December 2015. It has not yet revealed the launch date in India.
