The Gujarat common entrance test is scheduled to be commenced on April 23rd, 2018. The interested candidates can now check the eligibility criteria, age limit, last date of online application and many more from the official notification released by the Gujarat state government. GUJCET REGISTRATION 2018:

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) is an annual common entrance exam for MBA and MCA studies in Gujarat, India, since 2002. Every year it is conducted between March to August. Gujarat Technological University was inaugurated in October 2007.[1] Then, it started conducting GCET.

APPLICATION STARTS FROM: March 23rd, 2018.

ADMISSIONS AND EXAM PATTERN:

There two types of admissions seats covered under GCET:

  1. Grant-in-Aid (GIA) for University run departments. Fees are significantly low.
  2. SFI (Self Financed) for private institutes.

The written test comprises sections on quantitative ability, reasoning, data interpretation, reading comprehension, verbal ability, and general knowledge. Examinees can take the test in English or Gujarati.

ADMIT CARDS AVAILABILITY: the candidates who have applied for the examination can download the hall tickets from one week before the date of examination.

POINTS TO BE NOTED BY APPLICANTS BEFORE APPLYING:

  1. The applicant must upload a photo while registering. The documents also should be scanned before applying. The attachments are allowed with the size dimensions of 120 px. X 120 px. Please note that the attachments must be very clear.
  2. The photograph must be taken with white or light coloured background.
  3. The face of the candidate must cover 50% of the area in the photo with the face looking directly pointed towards the camera.
  4. No shadow should be seen in the photo. So kindly do not upload any mobile photographs.
  5. No cooling glasses or tinted shades are allowed in the photograph, only spectacles are allowed.
  6. Upload the signature of the candidate done with a blue or black coloured pen on a white paper and get it scanned. Do not use mobile phone photographs for scanning the signature
  7. The photo, signature and any other attachments adequately visual are considered if not are rejected by GUJCET authority.

  2. Click on the GUJCET  application form on the home page.
  3. Enter all the necessary details and recheck twice before submission.
  4. Submit all the entered details
  5. Save or download the registered number and application form for future use.
