Indian telecom sector is undergoing some major changes, thanks to Reliance Jio and its free 4G services. It has become a big problem to other Mobile Network providers as everyone are attracted to Jio. Thus, the only way for all other Network providers to stand and fight against Reliance Jio is to provide new offers to their customers.

So, to counter the Jio services, India’s second largest telecom network, Vodafone India has come up with an amazing deal to their 4G handset customers all over the country.

As per reports, Vodafone has partnered with HMD Global for the newly launched Nokia Android smartphones. Under this, Vodafone customers buying the recently launched range of smartphones – Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 can experience the exciting offers.

This means that Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 buyers will get free data from Vodafone as part of a strategic alliance between the telecom operator and HMD Global, the company that currently has rights to the Nokia mobile brand.

Announcing this initiative, Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India said,

“We are delighted to partner with HMD Global to roll out this exciting offer that enables our customers to get the most out of their new Nokia smartphones.“

According to the offer, customers buying Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphones can enjoy 5GB data (4GB additional data) on a purchase of 1GB Data for 3 months (or 3 recharges, whichever comes first) for just Rs. 142.

In addition, all customers buying Nokia 6 smartphones will enjoy 10 GB data (9GB additional data) on the purchase of 1GB Data for 3 months, at just Rs. 251.

Not only this, Vodafone post-paid customers can also avail a total of 5GB/10GB of 4G or 3G data per month for 3 consecutive billing cycles if they have a minimum of 1GB pack activated on their monthly rental plan.

In short, this is what the Vodafone offers to look like for Nokia smartphone buyers:

• 10GB data at Rs 251 per month for three months on Nokia 6
• 5GB data at Rs 142 per month for three months on buying Nokia 5
• 5GB data at Rs 142 per month for three months on purchase of Nokia 3

Vodafone adds that the additional data offers for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 smartphone users are valid across all Vodafone circles. However, just keep in mind that prices may vary a little from circle to circle.

These new Nokia handsets are available at all outlets and also exclusively available on Amazon. By offering the Nokia smartphones at a starting range of Rs 8,999 and free 4G data, this handset range had taken the market by a storm.
