The SRM University (Sri Ramaswami Memorial University), formerly SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is a deemed university in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras. It has 7 campuses, 4 in Tamil Nadu—Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Tiruchchirappalli and others in NCR, Sonepat and Gangtok. The institute gained deemed status during the 2003-2004 academic year and was renamed SRM Institute of Science and Technology. It became SRM University in 2006, when it attained the status of a full-fledged university, under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

The university is approved by the University Grants Commission and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been given an overall A Grade by NAAC. The university conducts various examinations for the admissions into different programs. This year it has conducted the SRMJEEE 2017 and the candidates who had written the exam can check the results from the official website.

SRMJEEE Results 2017:

The examination was divided into four parts, each consisting of 35 questions and carrying 105 marks i.e. a total of 315 marks for the entire paper. In it, the scores and the rank achieved by the candidates will be disclosed. Publication of SRMEEE Rank List & SRM Counseling Schedule is prepared by the SRM University. Candidates who had written the exam can check the results & ranks from 2nd May 2017.

The counseling of SRMJEEE 2017 will be held from 14th to 23rd May 2017 in offline mode for all of the selected applicants. If there are seats available after the first round of counseling, the admission committee will conduct online counseling from 25th May 2017 onwards. All of the unfilled seats will be allotted during the second online round counseling. Candidates who had appeared for the TS 10th can check TS 10th Class Results 2017.
