Dangal Director Nitesh Tiwari’s Epic Reaction On Baahubali 2 Collecting Over Rs 1000 Crore
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali – The Conclusion has become a benchmark film at the worldwide box office, by collecting over Rs 1000 crore in 10 days. Baahubali-2 is the first Indian film ever to cross the magic figure of grossing over 1000 crore worldwide, out of which around Rs 800 crore has come from India domestic theatricals and the rest from overseas markets.
Baahubali 2’s Hindi version alone has crossed Rs 300 crore and is racing towards Rs 400 crore. Earlier, Aamir Khan’s Dangal had set a high benchmark with its box-office records, now Prabhas’s Baahubali – The Conclusion has broken all those records.
It has not spared even big movies of 3 Khans; basically, it was Dangal which had lots of records to its name, but after the release of this Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer, it has taken a backseat. After 3 days of Baahubali-2 released, it had broken almost 23 records thereby becoming a nightmare to other filmmakers in Indian Film Industry.

Recently, the director of Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari was at Dada Saheb Film Foundation Awards 2017. It was at that event when media asked him about how he feels on Baahubali 2’s success. Although Baahubali 2 has beaten Dangal in many aspects, the director’s response has been very impressive.
The director had a very positive outlook towards it and even stated that the industry should get inspired from it and should also aspire to achieve such kind of performance.
Dangal Director Nitesh Tiwari said,
“I think it’s a fabulous time for our industry. A movie like Baahubali is doing such a fantastic business and it’s a very welcome sign. I think we should feel very very encouraged by the performance of Baahubali and we should really work hard and get ourselves closer to this kind of performance.”
Meanwhile, the director’s film Dangal which recently released in China is performing fabulously. The film has released over 9000 screens in China on last Friday. The film has broken many records overseas as well as in India and same response is being expected from fans in China.
Dangal in China is now racing towards 100 crores and the film will become his second movie after PK to do so.
