Telangana State conducts the State Eligibility Test every year by the Osmania University, Hyderabad in accordance with G.O. Through this test the candidates are going to get recruited as promotions of lecturers/ Assistant professors in Degree Colleges/ Universities as per the University grants commission regulations. Every year Osmania university conducts SET. This year it has released notification for the Telangana SET 2017.

The candidates who have the interest in applying for the test should have Master`s Degree from a recognized university with at least minimum 55% marks for General and 50% of marks for SC/ST/PH/VH. The candidates who are appearing for final year of post graduate examination can also appear the examination.
Application Fee:
The candidates should pay Rs. 1000/- if they belong to general category, Rs. 800/- if they belong to BC category they should pay Rs. 800/-, if they belong to SC/ST/PWD category they should pay Rs. 500/-.
