T20 is today’s one of the best formats of Cricket. Crickets fans all over the world are attracting towards T20 rather than other formats. T20 cricket gives them a lot of entertainment. Now the question is that is the situation same when T20 Cricket started? Though it’s the new format, people attracted a lot and supported the game in a new way.
For team India, 24th September 2007 is the day that they never forget in their life. ICC T20 World Cup Final: India vs. Pakistan that got us the first ever T20 World Cup and made India proud. And the Hero of that final match is said to be Joginder Sharma who bowled the last over.
Pakistan needed 13 runs off last over and MS Dhoni opted for Joginder Sharma to bowl. Joginder bowled a wide ball followed by a six that made Pakistan 6 runs to win. But Joginder held his nerve and fought back with a wonderful delivery which Misbah couldn’t connect to perfectly.
Thus, India won the Cup and Joginder was crowned the hero.
The interesting thing is that where did he go after the World Cup? Soon after the tournament, he landed a job with Haryana Police.
He is now in a designation and serving as Deputy Superintendent Of Police. Yes, it’s true.
