And Finally, Chiranjeevi’s 150th Film Heroine Confirmed!

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s  making a comeback in films was a big news in Tollywood town since past few years. As his upcoming movie would be the 150th film in his career, it added a lot more expectations to the sky. But soon after, speculations around the  female lead in the film became bigger news. It started with Nayanthara being considered for the role, then it was Anushka Shetty, followed by Jaqueline Fernandez and even Bollywood divas Deepika Padukone, Nargis Fakhri did several rounds in the media as Chiru’s leading lady.

And finally, now it’s confirmed that Kajal Aggarwal has been chosen to play the lead role opposite Chiranjeevi in his much-awaited 150th film. Kajal will be soon seen romancing Chiranjeevi in the film, the shooting of which started some time ago. The actress signed the agreement on Saturday and according to sources.

A leading daily a source also revealed, “It is true that Kajal is doing the film. She will start shooting for the movie from this month.” This film is the Telugu remake of Kaththi that starred Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Earlier, the film was being called Kaththilantodu but Ram Charan in his live Facebook session revealed that the film will NOT be called that. The final title of the movie is yet to be revealed and confirmed.

According to the past reports, this is a remake of Vijay’s Kaththi movie which was a blockbuster last year. Chiranjeevi will be playing a dual role in this film one of a cop and the other of a criminal. This Telugu remake will be tweaked a little to suit the megastar and the telugu audience. The makers have already completed with three schedules of the film. As Ram Charan revealed in his Facebook live, the movie is set to release most likely next year around Sankranti. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and the movie is directed by VV Vinayak.
