Mumbai is pretty infamous for its tiresome traffic congestion. So what do you do when you are stuck in a traffic jam, with vehicles moving at snail’s pace on New Year’s Eve? Shiraz Sorab Ginwalla and his friends were some of those several commuters stuck in one such traffic jam in South Mumbai, but instead of venting their frustration, they decided to entertain the crowd stuck in a jam.

Celebrating the New Year’s Eve in style, Ginwalla got out on the road in the middle of the jam and started dancing to a few Bollywood songs blaring from his car. Soon, more and more people joined him in shaking a leg which turned into an impromptu flash mob.

This video posted on Facebook by Ginwalla’s friend Mehdi Muslemi is now going viral. Shiraz Sorab Ginwalla reminded everyone that they didn’t need a place to celebrate and welcomed the New Year on the streets of Mumbai.
