Cheteshwar Pujara scored 145* in which he came to bat as one of the openers and he stood until the match ended. Thus Cheteshwar Pujara continued to earn praise from fans around the world as he carried his bat throughout the innings in the 3rd Test against Sri Lanka as India got all out for 312. Cheteshwar Pujara became the fourth Indian to carry his bat throughout the innings.
His 145 not out helped India score 312 all out in their first innings in the third and final Test at SSC Colombo. Cheteshwar Pujara came back to the Test squad in grand style by registering his seventh Test century. His century made on Sunday not only helped India to score 312, but also made him to join the legends in an illustrious list.
