IMU Recruitment 2018: Indian Maritime University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu issued a notification for recruitment to total 74 teaching posts that include Professor, Associate Professor and assistant professor vacancies. These vacancies are to be filled in marine, nautical science, naval architecture, dredging and harbour, electrical, mechanical and logistics/ supply chain management and port and shipping management disciplines,  as stated by NDTV. Candidates who want to join the recruitment need to enrol themselves first which will be commenced from 1st August. Online applications must be acknowledged online before 30th August (11:59 PM).

IMU Recruitment 2018 Apply Online

• Interested and eligible (as per eligibility criteria) candidates can apply online only. Form submission through any other mode will not be accepted in any condition.
• Online application for the recruitment can be submitted to the official website of the University i.e. www.imu.edu.in.
• At first, contenders need to make registration in which, basic pieces of information are required.
• After that, contenders need to log in by filling up columns with the User ID and password.
• Then, aspirnats need to enter further details in the application form.
• There is no need to send hard copy of the application to the administration.

Before applying online for the posts, candidates must check eligibility criteria. All the conditions must be satisfied, otherwise, the application can be rejected.

Age Limit: Applicants applying for Professor or Associate Professor should not be older than 60 years while the maximum age limit for Assistant Professor is 50 years.

Selection Procedure: No examination will be conducted, only a personal interview will be arranged. On the basis of performance, a final merit list will be prepared.

In the notification, it is strictly declared that the university reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of posts or can cancel the recruitment as well.
