Ram Gopal Varma is coming back almost after a decade with Sarkar 3, and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that he is returning with a bang.  Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the lead character, reprises his role as Subhash Nagare. His character is now old but definitely not helpless.

After Big B, it is Amit Sadh who is grabbing eyeballs and remains the standout character in the trailer. Manoj Bajpayee and Jackie Shroff, who are the other new additions to the starcast. The trailer of Sarkar 3, the third film in the Sarkar franchise that started in 2005, is all about the return of Subhash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan), who has already lost his sons, Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) and Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan).

This is Amitabh Bachchan’s sixth collaboration with director Ram Gopal Varma after Sarkar (2005), Nishabd (2007), Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag (2007), Sarkar Raj (2008), Rann (2010) and Department (2012).

Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam are also in the film and they are expected to carry the Sarkar legacy forward. Sarkar 3 will hit the screens on April 7, 2017.
