Although the craze for morning shows was normal but it went high as soon as the review come out. PK successfully satisfied the benchmark test of critics and bagged an average of 4 stars for its strong story line and Aamir Khan’s Acting. PK is second highest non holiday starter ever behind Dhoom 3. PK is 6th Highest Opening Day of all Time below Happy New Year, Dhoom 3, Singham Returns, Ek Tha Tiger and Chennai Express as per trade. PK was very good in metros but struggled in single screens and mass centers. PK has not done well in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP and Gujarat single screens PK at Chennai & Pune gave PK a thunder start at box office and collected around 7-8 crores on its first day of release.
