Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati released notification for the recruitment of Teacher posts across Andhra Pradesh. A huge number of candidates who are looking for the teacher jobs can apply for the recruitment. Earlier, AP TET is scheduled to conduct on 17th Jan 2018. Now, the education minister of Andhra Pradesh, G.Srinivasa Rao has officially announced today the postponement of APTET 2017 exam. He further announced that even though APTET exam is postponed, there is no effect on the APDSC 2017.

AP TET 2018 New Schedule:

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET.

The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. TET was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve standards in teaching. This year AP govt. released TET 2017 notification. Candidates can now check AP TET New exam dates 2018 here.

AP TET 2018 New Exam Dates:

APTET 2017 online examination will now be held from February 5, 2018 to February 15, 2018 while the initial exam dates for paper I and paper II were from January 17, 2018 to January 27, 2018

There will be two sessions, 9.30 am to 12 noon and 2.30 pm to 5 pm

The fees payment date is also extended till January 13 and online submission of application through official website could be done till January 17

The online mock test will be held from January 23 and the availability of the hall ticket for download will be from January 24

The tentative answer key will be published on February 16 and the final key on February 24

The result of APTET 2017 will be declared on February 26
