Cochin University of Science and Technology is a government owned university which is located in Cochin, Kerala, India. The university is founded in the year 1971 which has three campuses in three different place. Two campus in Cochin and one in Kuttanad, Alappuzha, 66km from Inland. There are about 6520 students are doing their undergraduate and postgraduate study at this university. This year it has released notification for the BTech admission programs.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to have cleared Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks. It has to be noted that relaxation in minimum marks for reserved category candidates will be as per the norms of the university for other B.Tech. programmes.

Selection Process:

The selection will be done on the basis of marks in the diploma degree (50% weightage), marks scored in the admission test conducted by the department (40% weightage). The number of years of experience after completing the Diploma degree (weightage at the rate of 1% per year of experience subject to a maximum of 10%).
