Mumbai FYJC 3rd Merit List 2018: In suburban minority colleges and in the city nearly twelve thousand seats are still empty under in-house quota. Also, Bombay High Court has already ordered the minority colleges to remove in-house quota in Admission Counselling of first-year junior college. While, the most important news of the day is that, on upcoming Tuesday, third Merit List for admission to the FYJC will be unveiled on July 31. 

Keeping first-year junior college 2018 admission and counselling schedule in mind, On 7th August 2018, FYJC 4th Merit List will be released. Besides, on 3rd August 2018, Vacancy List and Cut Off List for FYJC 3rd Round will be uploaded on official website www.mumbai.11thadmission.net.

In accordance with previous year statistics, Admission procedure should have been completed till now. But, one month delay is clearly observed in the admission process and tentatively, everything will be finalised by August 2018. Because of the surrender of online quota seats, a new FYJC Merit List will be prepared and released at 11:30 AM on 27th July 2018.

Many officials are holding different perceptions regarding Bombay High Court’s order of ban on in-house quota seats in FYJC admission. Like “With this judgment, the seat count will increase and allotment has to be done on merit. So, we will first open the link for minority colleges to surrender their in-house quota seats and then release the vacancies. After that we will allow candidates to change their preferences again,” said deputy secretary of school education department, Suvarna Kharat in a press release statement yesterday.

As a part of major important instructions, Junior Colleges shall ensure to complete the syllabus for students who are admitted after the commencement of colleges by conducting extra lectures/ practical’s. Also, after completing 70% of admissions, higher secondary/ junior colleges are permitted to start their regular classes for the 11th standard.

With the delay in CAP (Centralised Admission Process), it has also come to the knowledge of the public that 7,000 seats in Management Quota and 60,000 seats in Minority quota are still lying vacant.
