Candidates not allowed to give SSC Examination due to shortage of question papers

Staff Selection Commission Examination was held on 9th August 2015. Some of the students did not write the examination although they have an admit card and reached the examination in time. The students are not allowed to appear the examination as there are shortage of question papers. Also the examiner said the students that the exam will be conducted on 30th August 2015 and not to discuss the matter outside. The candidates who reached the exam center a few minutes late in the morning due to rain were not allowed in even though the examination began 40 minutes late at 10:40 a.m. This incident was took place at Government Boys Senior Secondary School near Kasturba Hospital at Daryaganj in central Delhi.

Pawan Kumar one of the affected candidate from Rajasthan said that, “About 25-30 students who had already entered the examination center and had admit cards were asked to leave due to shortage of printed question papers. The examination superintendent told them their exam would be conducted on August 30 and that they should not discuss the matter with anyone outside.”

He also said that, “The scheduled time to enter the examination hall was 9:30 a.m., but some of us reached 5-10 minutes late due to rain. Still, we were not allowed to enter. However, the examination superintendent and the invigilators who came late were given permission to enter and the examination began 40 minutes late.”

“Even a couple of constables present there tried to convince the officials to let us in, but they refused,” Pawan Kumar added.

Police officials said that they did not registered any case regarding this issue as they did not recieved any complaint.
